House Speaker Pelosi calls Bush ‘a total failure’- this coming from someone who has totally failed to do anything worthwhile while sitting in the seat of house speaker. A “Do Nothing ” Democrat criticising President Bush while ignoring everything he has accomplished to keep this nation safe from terrorism. I wonder if Nancy Pelosi would like everyone to call her a “Total Loser” every time they speak about her in a public forum? I wonder what her reaction would be if every republican who took the podium in front of millions called her a “Total Loser” for the American people? I wonder what her response would be if every time she is mentioned in a public arena, her list of failures to act to do anything were hashed and rehashed ad nauseum?

At least President Bush is trying to do something, the Democratic Congress is doing absolutely nothing [LINK] but standing in the way of every major attempt to get this country back on track. They have blocked measures that could stop oil futures speculators from continuing to artificially inflate oil prices [LINK], they are blocking offshore drilling [LINK], they are refusing to lift moratoriums [LINK], and they are refusing to allow any new oil refineries to cope with the rise in supply and demand to help ease gasoline prices [LINK ].

WASHINGTON (AP) - President Bush has been a “total failure” in everything from the economy to the war to energy policy, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Thursday. In an interview on CNN, the California Democrat was asked to respond to video of the president criticizing the Democratic-led Congress for heading into the final 26 days of the legislative session without having passed a single government spending bill.

Pelosi shot back in unusually personal terms.

“You know, God bless him, bless his heart, president of the United States, a total failure, losing all credibility with the American people on the economy, on the war, on energy, you name the subject,” Pelosi replied. She then tsk-tsked Bush for “challenging Congress when we are trying to sweep up after his mess over and over and over again.”

The only thing Pelosi and the Democrats are trying to do is avoid doing anything at all- trying to duck their responsibilities, then trying to pass the blame along to the other party!

White House spokeswoman Dana Perino defended Bush.

“What the president said is a fact - this is the longest a Congress has gone in 20 years without passing a single spending bill, so it’s clear that the speaker is feeling some frustration at their inability to do so.”

Nancy Pelosi, God bless her, bless her heart, Speaker of the House, an apparently totally out of touch with reality liberal, has been a total failure, losing all credibility with the American people for her repeated whining and complaining and failure to act on anything. Dana Perino pretty much summed it all up by exclaiming that Pelosi is obviously feeling frustration at being called to the carpet for the Democrat’s failure to do anything in 20 years of ’service’ to the American people.

“Pelosi’s outburst was a departure. Her usual practice in public has been to call Bush’s policies a failure - not his presidency or him, personally. Pelosi’s remarks are the latest evidence of the Democrats’ throw-caution-to-the-wind approach to Bush in the waning days of a presidency weighed down by an unpopular war and soaring gasoline prices.”

Throw caution to the wind approach? How about throw decency and civility out the window approach? How about throw their culpability out the window while trying to pass the buck approach?

Yes, that’s what happens when you stand in the way of progress, resist every effort made by the other side, try to duck your responsibilities, try to duck work, take every opportunity to take long extended tax-payer vacations, complain about your already dismal work week, and fail to do anything of substance, and stand in the way of gasoline relief by opposing offshore drilling. Well done Congress! We the American people are certainly getting our money’s worth paying exorbitant fees to watch you duck your responsibilities.

50,000 Physicists Reverses Stance on Climate Change. The American Physical Society, an organization representing nearly 50,000 physicists, has reversed its stance on climate change and is now proclaiming that many of its members disbelieve in human-induced global warming. This is one of the very groups who had previously stated, along with Al Gore,, and without any sound science to back them up, that ‘Man-Caused’ global warming was “incontrovertible.”

Incontrovertible? No question? Tell me, how could something so “Incontrovertible” all of a sudden be completely reversed? When people throw words like “Incontrovertible” around, that should be a red flag to everyone- Macroevolutionists like to use this word a lot too, and almost every time the term is invoked, it means that those making the claim have shut their ears and covered their eyes, and no longer wish to discuss an issue.

“In a posting to the APS forum, editor Jeffrey Marque explains,”There is a considerable presence within the scientific community of people who do not agree with the IPCC conclusion that anthropogenic CO2 emissions are very probably likely to be primarily responsible for global warming that has occurred since the Industrial Revolution.”

“The APS is opening its debate with the publication of a paper by Lord Monckton of Brenchley, which concludes that climate sensitivity — the rate of temperature change a given amount of greenhouse gas will cause — has been grossly overstated by IPCC modeling. A low sensitivity implies additional atmospheric CO2 will have little effect on global climate.”

Grossly overstated? Tell me it aint so Sam? Of course it was grossly overstated- in fact, it went further than simple overstatement- it went all the way to blatant outright lying, and stronghanding and ostracizing those who disagreed.

In an email to DailyTech, Monckton says, “I was dismayed to discover that the IPCC’s 2001 and 2007 reports did not devote chapters to the central ‘climate sensitivity’ question, and did not explain in proper, systematic detail the methods by which they evaluated it. When I began to investigate, it seemed that the IPCC was deliberately concealing and obscuring its method.” (Emphasis added by me)

Monckton, who was the science advisor to Britain’s Thatcher administration, says natural variability is the cause of most of the Earth’s recent warming. “In the past 70 years the Sun was more active than at almost any other time in the past 11,400 years … Mars, Jupiter, Neptune’s largest moon, and Pluto warmed at the same time as Earth.” (Dailytech.com)

It now appears that 50,000 physicists also agree, and with a growing number of other scientists, almost 40,000, the 50 or so scientists that worked on the IPCC can no longer claim to be a ‘majority voice’ concerning this issue. It now is quite apparent that those who worked on the IPCC set out to intentionally deceive the public for profit. I find it quite amusing that those who worked for the IPCC make the claim that any counter evidence that completely refutes the idea that man is responsible for global change, can sit there and accuse those bringing the counter evidence of ‘being in the pockets of Big Oil’ when they themselves are deep in the pockets of “Big Environmental Conservationists”.

It is time this whole silly idea that man is to blame for global change receives the proper burial that it deserves. There is now incontrovertible testimony from more than a few former IPCC scientists who have confessed to being pressured by the IPCC panel to report false claims! Further, it is more than evident that natural causes, not affected in the slightest way by man’s activities, are to blame for the previous warming trends, and that those trends are nothing more than purely natural cyclical warming events that happen quite normally in response to natural issues fully beyond our control.

Take a look at the picture I posted- See those dark orange spots on the sun? Those and more like them were what was causing the earth to heat more than 10 years ago, but the Sun’s spots have since receded, and we are now facing a couple of decades of cooling. The Sun spots, which cause solar flares, emit radiation- when the sun’s spots become enlarged, they emit tremendous radiation heat which warms the earth- which we saw fully played out in the last century or so- and when those flares diminish, as we are witnessing them do so now, there is less heat generated, which causes the earth to cool, which we are once again, seeing play out before out very eyes- despite the fact that we as a globe, are producing record amounts of ‘greenhouse gases’.

Ask yourself this- if man’s greenhouse gases are the cause of ‘global warming’, then why has the earth been cooling now for more than a decade while our output of ‘greenhouse gases’ has increased? Also, ask yourself this, if man’s greenhouse gases’ are supposedly so detrimental to the environment, and such a catalyst for global warming, then why hasn’t a massive increase in ‘greenhouse gases’ caused the earth to heat up warmer than the pre-industrial age? We should be magnitudes warmer than pre-industrial, yet we’re not. Folks, “Man-Caused’ global warming is a lie!

Nancy Pelosi Against Offshore Drilling- Won’t Budge Despite Growing Pressure. Swell- Miss Multi-Millionaire, who hasn’t a financial care in the world, and who probably hasn’t exited her care to pump her own gasoline for a long long time, tells the hurting American citizens that she doesn’t care one whit about our plight!

One oil spill 38 years ago is apparently enough to stop Nancy Pelosi from wanting to help ease the suffering of America despite the fact that our technological advances have rendered extreme environmental accidents nearly impossible. We’re now one of the most technologically advanced oil extraction nations on earth now, and could be drilling oil rich beds and flooding the market with a bounty that will not run out for many thousands of years, but Miss Pelosi couldn’t care less- she’s standing firm and won’t allow it despite businesses going under all around her due to high gasoline prices.

As you can see- Nancy Pelosi is attempting to shift the blame off the democrats and onto someone she apparently loathes by telling the American public that President Bush is to blame Any sane person who has studied the situation knows full well she is telling stories bigger than the arctic national wildlife refuge.

“The president of the United States, with gas at $4 a gallon because of his failed energy policies, is now trying to say that is because I couldn’t drill offshore,” Pelosi said in an interview. “That is not the cause, and I am not going to let him get away with it.”

What does she think we are? A bunch of idiots?!- The reason prices are so high is because Nancy Pelosi and other far left democrats have refused to allow oil oil companies to create new refineries to keep up with the growing demand for oil/gasoline, and the other reason the prices are so high is because of futures speculators which Nancy and her fellow far left democrats have done absolutely nothing to stop- there is no other reason for high oil prices! None! She can whine about President Bush all she likes, but at the end of the day- the blame falls squarely on her and her fellow far left democrats shoulders!

“And she and Senator Harry Reid of Nevada, the majority leader, appear intent on holding the line against calls to approve drilling in areas now off limits. They mount the counter argument that the oil and gas industry is not aggressively exploring large expanses it has already leased on land and offshore. Oil companies have explained ad nauseum why they can’t extract the oil from the lands already leased- but as is typical of the ‘blame everyone but ourselves’ far left democrats, the explanations go right in one ear and out the other, and they whine about President Bush while refusing to budge to help ease the sufferings of Americans all over this country!

Price of Oil Drops 18 cents- Gasoline Drops a Whole Penny. Yippee- we’re all saved!

Don’t ya find it funny that oil can drop nearly 20 cents, but gasoline only drops a penny, but… if the price of oil rises a 1 cent, gasoline goes up 20 cents? (or a few pennies to be more realistic)

This last week saw the biggest drop in oil prices in over 3 long years, and the price of gasoline fell by a whole whopping penny! Yet the storm brewing off the coast will raise the prices over then next week because the pessimistic future’s speculators will panic at the first sign of a cloud in the sky!

“If crude prices hold at current levels or head even lower, drivers may see further relief at the pump in the coming days.”

Well now, won’t that be grand? The ’sky is falling’ oil speculators artificially drive prices from about $2.00 a few years ago to over $4.10, and the announcement after a penny drop claims we’re ‘getting a break’? How very nice of them.

“Is it time to declare the energy bubble over? Experts aren’t ready to go that far just yet. Oil has bounced back repeatedly from big drops and oil prices continued to erase record highs this year.”

Don’t hold your breath or you’ll be gasping for air (which isn’t being taxed at the moment- lucky us), Congress still isn’t allowing oil companies to build the desperately needed oil refineries to cope with more oil that will come from expanded oil exploration and extraction- so we’ll still be in very same predicament we’re in now- a ton of oil, but nowhere to process it- supply will still not be able to meet the demand thanks to congress!

“Oil’s drop may have an immediate effect, as gas station owners desperate to get drivers back to the pump consider a pre-emptive cut in price.

The price for a gallon of regular fell to $4.105, down nearly a penny, according to AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and Wright Express. Diesel prices also eased, dipping three-tenths of a cent to $4.842 a gallon.”

A penny saved will draw motorists back to the pumps? If that’s the case, then I’ve just decided to start selling dental-floss, and I’ll drop my artificially high price 2 pennies- so I guess I can start expecting hordes of people trampling down my door to get my valuable product?

Geoff Sundstrom, a spokesman for auto club AAA, thinks that the price of gasoline could fall below $4.00- time to get out the party hats- after all, we’re still paying about $2.00 above true market price (thanks to congress and to the chicken little future’s speculators)- but we’re still apparently ‘getting a bargain’ according to the futures speculators who want oil prices to rise way above true market value.

Odd Fish Find Shows Nothing But Adaption, yet the National Geographic, and the Church of Darwin are all googley-eyed over the discovery claiming that it ‘contradicts Intelligent Design”.

Does it? Absolutely not. If an example of simple adaptation that falls squarely within the perfectly viable paradigms of natural selection, something that ID has never refuted because they know that NS is a biological fact, where Macroevolution, the creation of NEW information is not, is the best that Macroevolution advocates can produce, then I’m sorry to say their hypothesis is in dire straights.

The National Geographic goes so far as to state “The discovery of a missing link in the evolution of bizarre flatfishes—each of which has both eyes on the same side of its head—could give intelligent design advocates a sinking feeling.”

After I stopped laughing, I decided to counter this ridiculous statement by going on record as saying “No it doesn’t! We love nature, and we love science, and we know that there is great variation in nature, that has never been disputed- variation is a biological fact- however, the creation of NEW information is a biological impossibility- NEW information is something that Macroevolution absolutely needs in order to even be considered a biologically viable hypothesis, and we know from science, that simple adaptations do NOT create NEW information, so this ‘discovery’ of a weird fish is nothing to get excited about- it’s a pity that more scientists, and more public publications aren’t intellectually honest enough to admit this.”

We know from nature, that variations in species do happen- what doesn’t happen however is one species gaining NEW information, and absolute biological necessity, as proven out by myriad and expensive scientific testings, to move beyond it’s own KIND. A fish is always a fish, a frog always a frog- no matter how odd or diverse the variations within such species KINDS. It would be nice if scientists were intellectually honest enough to admit this to the public instead of constantly deceiving them by claiming that these simple variations are responsible for moving a species KIND beyond it’s own KIND, but apparently, the religious-like belief in Darwinism is just too strong to admit the failure of variation to move species KINDS beyond their own KIND. When you find those fish sprouting arms and legs, and lungs capable of breathing out of water, and bone structures capable of supporting them on land- let us know- until the, all you have are simple fully biologically viable variations that fall squarely within the parameters of simple adaption.

The National Geographic states “CT scans of 50-million-year-old fossils have revealed an intermediate species between primitive flatfishes (with eyes on both sides of their heads) and the modern, lopsided versions, which include sole, flounder, and halibut.

So the change happened gradually, in a way consistent with evolution via natural selection—not suddenly, as researchers once had little choice but to believe, the authors of the new study say.” (News.Nationalge...)

What the National Geographic deceitfully leaves out is the fact that this is nothing more than simple MICROEvolution, and in no way shows an example of the much different biological process of MACROEvolution. The two evolutions are entirely different mechanisms- the first is a biological fact, the second is nothing but an agendists hypothesis that lacks any credible evidence to support.

Another thing that the National Geographic and Darwinist agendists refuse to tell you is that mutations can only work to vary information already present, and these variations ALL have upper limitations that prevent them from changing something like an eye into an ear, and further, what they fail to tell you is that mutations cause LOSS of information, not the absolutely necessary GAIN of NEW information. Macroevolution can not work without the creation of NEW information, and it is impossible to create NEW information by manipulating already existing information such as happens in simple MICROEvolution.

The only thing mutations can do is change around instructions already present. If something doesn’t have the instructions for wings, it would then NEED those instructions from an outside source. The only way to receive that information is through lateral gene transference. Lateral gene transference is a process of transferring information from one source to another. For instance, scientists were able to transfer the information in a spider that results in the creation of spider-silk to a goat through a carefully controlled gene transference. The goat then produced silk in it’s milk for a period. There are no examples of this type of gene transference between dissimilar species KINDS known in nature- despite intense studies to find them.

When the National Geographic finds evidence of lateral gene transference between dissimilar KINDS, then they will have something to crow about and folks can begin to take them seriously, but so far, despite their intense desire to prove Macroevolution, they are being disingenuous by claiming that simple MICROEvolution amounts to examples of MACROEvolution- which it does not! And presenting a fish with funny eyes and placements is simply silly and unprofessional! Whether simple natural variations takes place rapidly or over long periods of time has absolutely no relevance in the discussion about MACROEvolution- none whatsoever! The two processes of MACRO and MICRO Evolution are completely different processes- conflating the issue and attempting to confuse the public by obscuring this fact is dishonest and intentionally deceiving, and they should be ashamed of themselves- but apparently, Darwinian agendists are incapable of feeling shame. Annoying Bird Mimics Sirens. What is the most annoying sound in the world? A siren? A cell phone ringtone? Car alarms? A loud pitched whine? Nope- The most annoying sound in the world is a blackbird imitating those sounds.

Apparently, all blackbirds are capable of mimicry but most don’t utilize their annoying skills, however, a blackbird in Britain is beginning to grate on the nerves of local residents as it repeatedly mimics the sounds that most of wish never existed.

Some starlings, as reported in the video, have been known to call out the high pitched sound of car alarms. Swell! Everyone upon hearing the sound probably runs to their windows thinking their car is being broken into.

Scientists believe that birds use mimicry to either defend territories, or to attract mates- so all you struggling bachelors out there- if you want to attract a girlfriend, try whistling the sounds of an emergency vehicle- apparently the girls will swoon over you if you do. If that doesn’t work, just spray yourself all over with a pheromone and hope for the best. (No, I’m no Doctor Phil as you may have guesses- smile)

Flesh-Eating Slug Found in Wales. Plan on going swimming in Wales anytime soon? If so, you might want to rethink that proposition- it seems a new previously unknown species of flesh eating slug has been discovered. This little slimy blob of a thing creeps around sucking up worms like spaghetti to feed it’s voracious appetite.

The little feller is armed with ‘blade-like’ teeth that slices through flesh like a hot knife through butter.

“They engulf the worms piece by piece,” the biologist noted. “One end of the worm will still be alive while the other is being gradually ratcheted into the slug by the teeth.”

The slug stalks it’s victims, ‘pouncing’ upon them and chewing their way to intestinal satiation. Swimmer feel a small tingling sensation on their toe, and before they know it they are fighting for their life as the slimy little bugger chews his way up the leg. (Just Kidding!)

The ‘ghost-slug’ as it is affectionately known, due to it’s ghostly white color, is believed to have been imported to Wales via some imported potted plants. (photo at the link provided- note, my photo is not the same slug as mentioned in this article)

The disgusting rhetoric coming from the Kansas so called “Church” once again shows why they are nothing but a hate-controlled tool of Satan who think absolutely nothing of Disparaging Tony Snow after he has passed on to be with the Lord and can no longer defend himself against such incredibly distasteful attacks against him. Tony Snow, who was a deeply religious person, but a private individual who chose to keep his religious views either to himself, or gladly speaking to those who inquired, was vilified by the Kansas so called “Church” for apparently not bowing down to them and kissing their feet and doing what they thought he should have- Evidently, the Kansas so called “Church” wants to run everyone’s lives by dictating what they should and should not do in public regarding their faith.

Free Speech Censorship- Students Can’t Sing Star Spangled Banner in Rotunda. Students get help.

“The Pacific Justice Institute [LINK] has sent a letter to state officials in California advising them that further attempts to tell students singing the “Star Spangled Banner” in the state Capitol rotunda to shut up would be viewed as a violation of their expressive rights under the state and federal constitutions.”

Apparently, state highway patrol troopers and members of the state sergeant-at-arms staff in the statehouse warned school children that they ‘could not’ sing the Star Spangled Banner in the rotunda in a civics camp they were attending ‘without a permit’ to do so? Wow! Just Wow!

“The students did, in fact, obtain a permit, and the “Star Spangled Banner” was sung by the students on Saturday, along with “God Bless America.”

According to the report, “They prayed for 10 minutes until 1:15 p.m., the time designated by the government permit. The students [then] delivered a stirring performance of the Star Spangled Banner that brought a tear to the eye of everyone in the rotunda. Many friends and family members of the students were in attendance.

“At the end of their performance, the students received a loud round of applause from the audience, including tourists walking through the capitol,” CRI said. “There was no visible presence of capitol police or staff.”

Apparently, Some apparent Self-loathing, America-despising self-righteous agendist police and sergeants-in-arms couldn’t stand the fact that some people revere God, would dare pray in public, and would show their patriotism in public, and wanted to put an immediate stop to displays of love for country by children proud to be Americans? Evidently this is a big political No-No?

“These future leaders have seen first-hand how we are losing our liberties – including simply expressing our patriotism in public,” said Meredith Turney, the legislative liaison for CRI Impact and a graduate of City on the Hill….

Manson Girl Susan Atkins Will Not be Released. I wrote earlier about the case of Manson Girl Susan Atkins who is dying of cancer, has lost a leg, and who is paralyzed on one side, and how she wanted to be released to die at home since she only has a few months left to live. Well, the case went to court, and Susan Atkins was refused the ‘compassionate Release’ that she had sought.

The California Board of Parole released its unanimous decision hours after a 90-minute hearing, during which it heard impassioned pleas from both sides.

“Obviously, it was too hot of a potato for them to handle,” said one of Atkins’ attorney, Eric P. Lampel. “Of course we’re disappointed. There’s no basis for denying this.”

Lampel said he was going to appeal, and felt that he could make his case in court- Don’t lawyers all make this claim?

James Whitehouse, Susan Atkin’s Husband and lawyer, said that his wife Susan was so debilitated that she can’t even sit up or snap her fingers, and told the parole board that there is no reason to keep her incarcerated any longer. (I guess when you’re terminally ill, your criminal acts magically disappear? Insert added by me)

“She literally can’t snap her fingers,” he said. “She can put sentences together three or four times a day, but that’s the extent of it.”

Among those who opposed her release was Arnold Schwarzenegger

“Those kinds of crimes are just so unbelievable, that I am not for compassionate release in that case,” Schwarzenegger said Tuesday before the parole board issued its decision.

“Atkins, Manson and two other cult members, Patricia Krenwinkel and Leslie Van Houten, were tried for the 1969 cult killings of actress Sharon Tate, Leno and Rosemary La Bianca, and four others. Tate, the wife of filmmaker Roman Polanski, was 8 1/2 months pregnant.” (FoxNews.com)

I have said previously, that I felt Susan Atkins and the other Manson killers should have been put to death for killing Sharon Tate- especially in the manner in which they took her life. However, I also stated that since the state didn’t do their duty, and instead opted for housing her in prison, at a cost of almost $1,500,000 since her arrest, that she should probably be released as she no longer poses any threat, and because she has accepted Christ as her Savior, which is an important issue when considering whether or not she is any longer dangerous. I believe she has changed, has repented, and feels awful about what she did. I could of course be wrong, but reviewing her history in prison, it does appear she is regretful for what she did and that she has changed.

Some have stated that she remains unrepentant, but others claim she did confess to them that she was sorry for what she had done, and that she had found the Lord while in prison, although many criminals seem to ‘find the Lord’ when their parole hearings are near, but from what I’ve read, I think it is quite possible that Susan did accept Salvation. If anyone has information that refutes this, I would be interested in seeing it and will post a correction of my statements.

Democrats ‘Standing in the Way’ of Domestic Oil Production. We keep seeing democrats like Dianne Fienstein complaining about how allowing further oil exploration ‘won’t produce any results for many years’ but my goodness- what kind of defeatist attitude is this? Imagine if every successful business owner had decided before they started their business that “Gee- I won’t see any profits for about 3 years- why bother?” Results take time, and putting off starting anything simply because it will take time is a defeatist mentality that belongs in the halls of losers- not winners!

Democrats have been stalling for far too long now, and we Americans are sick and tired of their politics as usual. We are hurting from high oil prices, businesses are suffering, transportation services are suffering, even services like ‘Meals on Wheels’ which provides essential food for those who are unable to care for themselves, are having to dissolve their services because of the high prices of gas. People are suffering congress, and we demand you stop the nonsense, and start utilizing our resources right now! As one person said “We’re starving to death while sitting atop a ham sandwich” for crying out loud!

(CNSNews.com) - President Bush on Tuesday listed the steps his administration is taking to help Americans squeezed by rising energy prices and falling home values. Get going, he told Democratic leaders.

He emphasized that “Democratic leaders have been delaying action on offshore exploration and now they have an opportunity to show that they finally get the frustrations of the American people.”

At a White House press conference, Bush urged Congress to follow his lead in clearing the way for expanded offshore, deep-water oil drilling.

On Monday, Bush lifted a presidential directive banning leases on the Outer Continental Shelf. But Congress needs to lift its own moratorium before anything can happen.

With the executive order lifted, “This means that the only thing standing between the American people and these vast oil resources is action from the U.S. Congress.” Congress passes an annual rider banning the leasing of coastal waters, except for parts of the Gulf of Mexico and some waters off the coast of Alaska.

Bush admitted that it will take time to bring the OCS oil online — and that makes quick congressional action “urgent.”

“The sooner Congress lifts this ban, the sooner we can get these resources to the ocean floor to refineries to the gas pump,” he said.

Folks like Nancy Pelosi are standing in the way of oil independence by stating that there is “No need” to explore for oil in oil rich areas because ‘we have a national reserve that can be opened up to refineries’. Great- more stall and duck ideology! Once the reserve is gone- what then Democrats? We’ll be right back where we started because the Democrats refuse to allow oil exploration and extraction- it’s as though they WANT Americans to struggle- especially when we have the means to become independent from foreign oil, but Democrats in congress won’t allow us to.

House Republican Leader John Boehner (Ohio) said “Republicans stand ready to work with the Democratic Majority to bring an end to this outdated ban so we can reduce our nation’s costly dependence on foreign sources of energy, empower states and localities to make decisions regarding energy exploration, and create thousands of good-paying jobs here at home.”

Drunken Man Torn to Pieces by Zoo Bears. Apparently a drunken man fell into a Siberian Brown bears enclosure when he tried to get some close-up photos of the creatures. He evidently lost his footing and tumbled into the bear’s pen.

The Siberian Brown bears immediately charged the man, and tore him ‘limb from limb’ as he frantically tried to escape according to the report.

Siberian Brown bears are notoriously territorial, and apparently they didn’t take kindly to the intrusion. The Siberian Brown bear is also one of the biggest land carnivores. (News.com.au) (note, the bear pictured in my article is unrelated to the story)

Gitmo video offers glimpse of interrogations. Here we go folks- the first civil case of a murderous detainee being held in civil courts- his lawyers making unsubstantiated allegations that the kid was ‘abused’ and his ‘rights’ were violated, and we’re now going to face the very real possibility that this detainee who murdered an American Soldier could be let go based on nothing but false accusations that can’t be backed up with any credible evidence.

In the video, a 16 year old detainee cries and complains, and makes allegations that are obviously false, not that this will mean anything to his lawyer. The detainee cries that he ‘lost his eyes and feet’ and insinuates that this was done at the hands of American guards, and yet anyone with eyes of their own can plainly see that the murderous detainee is lying out his teeth- He has both his eyes and his feet, and it is very clear that the kid is healthy, and is recovering very well from the injuries that he sustained when he murdered an American soldier during a firefight in which he willingly participated.

The detainee also complains, while sniveling, that he isn’t receiving ‘proper’ medical treatment, which I’m sure his lawyer will jump all over, but yet it is very apparent that the murderous kid is very healthy and that he is again lying- caught on tape.

The kid’s lawyer, Wells Dixon, a lawyer for the New York-based Center for Constitutional Rights, which represents dozens of Guantanamo prisoners, then appeals to the wild imaginations of the public by stating “If this is the way a teenager in Guantanamo has been treated, you can just imagine how anyone else has been treated.”

Yes Wells, let’s all conjure up imaginary scenarios about how big and bad and terrible the military is when dealing with people who tried to murder them in war. Yes Wells, Let’s out imaginations run wild after watching a sniveling kid make claims that are obviously false. Yes Wells, Let’s all malign and vilify our military for no other reason than that we feel bad for a kid who murdered a soldier- who made the choice to do so willingly, who KNEW the consequences of his actions, but who non-the-less now regrets his actions because he got caught and now has to reap what he has sown! Let’s all do this Wells, instead of simply incarcerating and prosecuting those who try to murder our soldiers in cold blood! Let’s just let terror sympathizing lawyers appeal to the wild imaginations of the public instead of presenting the facts!

Wells states: “What you see in the video is a teenager begging for help and what you see is an interrogation that violates U.S. law and any international law concerning the rights of children,”

No Wells, what I see in that video is a murderous kid who regrets getting caught and who is now sniveling before the cameras trying to tug at the heartstrings of bleeding-heart terror sympathizers like yourself.

“At one point in the interrogation, Khadr pulls off his orange prisoner shirt and shows the wounds he sustained in the firefight. He complains he cannot move his arms and says he had not received proper medical attention, despite requests.”

I guess he pulled off his shirt with his feet eh? “Can’t move his arms”? Good golly. I guess if you’re a murderous enemy combatant, all you have to do is sit before a camera, whine a lot, make a lot of false claims that are obviously not true, and some bleeding-heart terror sympathizing lawyer, greedy for money, will run to your aid screaming about abuse.

The report handed over to the Canadian court “indicates that Khadr, who was born in Canada and raised in Afghanistan, is questioned about his family, which has a long history of alleged involvement with radical Islamic causes. His Egyptian-born father, Ahmed Said Khadr, and some of his brothers fought for al-Qaida and had stayed with Osama bin Laden.”

Gee- what a swell family- don’t you feel bad for the kid sitting in prison as a result of his decision to murder one of our soldiers?

“The interrogator also questions him about the events leading up to his capture. Before being detained, Khadr says he was staying with “bad people”__bad because they were “killing Americans.” He says his father dropped him at this house and he would be back for him. He initially says the people at the house were Afghan, but then says there were also Arabs who told him and the Afghan to fight to the death. The Arabs shot at the Americans, then the Americans shot back, he says, adding, “I did not want to fight, but I had no choice.”

“No Choice”? The kid had a choice to throw his arms up and walk out peaceably, but he instead chose to throw a grenade at our soldiers- murdering one.

“During his last interrogation, according to the Canadian government report, Khadr is shown a picture of his family. He denied knowing anyone shown, but when left alone with it later, he urinated on the photograph.”

What an upstanding young man- truthful, civil, not in the least bit deceitful- Denied knowing his own family? Gosh- what a reputable young feller. I’m sure the courts can trust whatever this young man decides to tell them, without question- he’s right, our military is wrong- America is evil, Our enemies are justified in terrorizing the world, end of story [Sarcasm]

Without any proof of torture whatsoever, the kid’s lawyer non-the-less makes the accusation that he was infact ‘tortured’: “He was tortured for their benefit and he still continues to be in jail and it hasn’t changed much, so I can’t expect it to be any different in Guantanamo,” Zaynab Khadr said. Gosh- the kid claims he was tortured- let’s let him go- he must be telling the truth after all. Let’s just quickly run down his claims: 1: “I lost my eyes” (He clearly has eyes and one of his eyes was lost not in detention, but in the firefight)

1. : “I’ve lost my feet” (He clearly has feet)
2. : (I’m not receiving proper medical care” (He was nursed back fro the brink of death and now appears very healthy- something he would not have received had he been caught by another country!)
3. : “I don’t know the people in the picture (He clearly knew his own family, and later urinated on the photo)
4. : “You don’t care about me” (The kid has been fed, givin medical help, is allowed to pray many times a day, is given showers, a bed and 3 square meals a day, plus has access to education and training, plus receives care from outside organizations like the red cross and is being allowed tax-payer funded high priced lawyers which he will never have to pay for- The government “doesn’t care about him”? This kid is a pathological liar!)
5. : The kid makes the accusation that he has received injuries in detention (But the fact is that he received those injuries that he is complaining about during his fight against the soldiers, one of whom he murdered).

Apparently his lawyers are ‘outraged’ that the kid is being held as an enemy combatant because the kid ‘is a child’, and they are making the claim that because he is a kid, his ‘civil’ rights are being violated- but the lawyer makes no mention of the fact that this ‘child’ intentionally threw a grenade which murdered one of our soldiers! What? Are we supposed to just look the other way if kids engage in cold blooded murder against our troops? Brilliant! We’ll just ignore any ‘children’ that murder our troops from now on because by golly we wouldn’t want them sniveling behind bars when they get caught in an attempt to protect our troops against those who hate us. We’ll just wink and nod every time a ‘child’ throws a grenade our way. We’ll just turn a blind eye whenever a ‘child’ launches a shoulder-fired missile at our troops, because by golly we wouldn’t want to hurt their feelings by capturing them and detaining them so that they can’t continue their cold-blooded murderous rage against our troops!

Lung Cancers Blasted by RadioFrequencies. AngioDynamics, Inc. has apparently created a device which can blast cancerous lung tumors with radio frequencies which disrupt the cancer cell membranes and send the errant mutations a-packin. In a small human trial of 106 patients who were severely ill, and who had no other choice as far as surgical procedures, a full 90% were treated successfully.

“The company, which employs approximately 540 people at its Airport Industrial Park location, announced Monday the results of a study that showed how the firm’s “Starburst XL” radio-frequency device can be used to destroy lung cancer tumors.”

“The Starburst XL is a needle-like device that is inserted at the site of a tumor, where the malignant cells are then killed by the heat-producing effect of radiofrequency ablation.”

The 106 patients in the study were considered ‘untreatable’ through surgery or chemotherapy. “In the RAPTURE study, we offered radiofrequency ablation to patients who had no other chance of a cure,” Lencioni said. “Our complete cure rate of about 90 percent, however, exceeded all of our expectations and appears to be better than those reported for any other nonsurgical treatment option.” (PostStar.com)

Survival rates were an astonishing 72-90% after one year, and were still incredibly high at 67-73% after 2 years. The variances were due to the types of tumors treated with the radiofrequencies.

AngioDynamics’ radiofrequency ablation devices are also being used for other types of cancers and tumors in other organs such as the kidneys, bones, and the liver. Early clinical studies were done on a few prostate cancer patients, which were successful, and the patients showed no signs of side effects normally associated with conventional prostate procedures.

According to AngioDynamics, it will be awhile before the device becomes a mainstream instrument in the fight against cancers as many more studies apparently need to be done first- loosely translated, this means the government must bilk many millions of dollars from the company before it will allow the device to go mainstream- all the while critically ill patients must endure harsher treatments that do nothing to extend their lives in a significant manner. However, at least the process is underway, and offers promising new technology in the fight against the single biggest killer in the world.

Todd Bentley: Revival Miracle Worker? Or Just More of the Same? Some of you may have heard about Todd Bentley, the Canadian ‘Miracle Worker’ who holds ‘revival meetings’ in which ’sick people’ are brought up to the stage so that Todd can ‘put the healing touch’ on them and make the ‘well’. And I’m sure some reading this piece will wonder if Todd really can ‘heal the sick, cause the lame to walk’ etc, and I’m sure that there may even be some who will believe Todd really can work miracles, but I’d like to take a closer look at this issue because it appears Todd is causing somewhat of a stir with his fancy stage performances.

First a little history on Todd Bentley- he readily admits his past, makes no bones about it, and will tell you that he was a drug addict, and sex offender before he ‘found the Lord’. He was convicted at the age of 13 for sexually assaulting a younger boy, and ended up in prison at the age of 15 for the crime. He grew up in what he claims was a household of drugs, affairs, and booze, and said he often did drugs and drank with his real father. He claims to have been ‘associated with’ people who were ‘associated with’ gangs.

Todd then claims that at the age of 18, God audibly spoke to him when he was in a ‘drug trailer’ stating “God found me in my drug dealer’s trailer and spoke to me in an audible voice,” he said. “I was instantly delivered from drug and alcohol addiction, I never had one craving, not one withdrawal symptom, I was transformed from that man to the man that I am today.” (ABCNews.go.com)

Mmm Hmm. Anyways- on to the claims of healings and miracles- are they real?

First off, let me state right up front, that I am sure some people do experience ‘remissions’ of certain ailments when they go to these types of ‘revival’ ‘healing’ shindigs. The power of suggestion can and does, and has been documented to, cause some types of ‘remissions’ in people with certain ailments. This is an established medical fact, and doctors chalk the experience up to the power of positive thinking. But, can Todd Bentley really perform miracles?

Some who believe he can, will of course, adamantly disagree with me, and probably even call me a ‘non-Christian’ because I ‘don’t believe that Todd is capable of performing miracles, but I want to make very clear, that I’ve studied a lot of these so called miracle events, and one very common thread that runs through them all is the fact that you never ever see any true, verifiable miracles take place- all you hear about are claims of people who were ‘cured’ because Todd prayed over them- no medical records to back the claims up, no visible records- nothing.

As well folks, Jesus when he performed miracles, performed real miracles, none of these “My backaches have been cured’ or “My ingrown toenail miraculously healed in 5 weeks after going to the meetings”! No, Jesus performed real verifiable miracles that everyone was able to see for themselves. He once restored the centurian’s head whom the apostle Peter had sliced off thinking he was defending his Lord and Savior. (Yes, I know the bible says it was an ear that Peter cut off, but some historians and language experts think the word used for ear really meant ‘head’). Jesus also instantly healed people- none of this weeks, months, or year-long ‘miracles’ like Todd supposedly performs. Jesus also verifiably cured people instantly of severe illnesses and crippling diseases. Jesus also raised people from the dead- Ask Todd when the last time was that he himself raised anyone from the dead or restored lost limbs or appendages?

No don’t get me wrong- I believe God still does forms of miracles today, however, I do not believe God is doing the same types of miracles today that Christ and the Apostles did when they were around, but if people today are supposedly infused with miracle working powers, then we will see verifiable evidence of God’s mastery over nature, such as restorations of lost limbs, healings of incurable diseases, restoration of sight etc, and there won’t be all these attempts at obscurity such as we see with all these supposed ‘miracle events’ done by folks such as Todd- NOR will we see people being berated for ‘not believing enough’ and therefore not receiving the healings they seek, when in fact, they do believe God is capable of miracles.

This last issue is probably the most insidious issue as it causes bible believing Christians to really doubt their own salvation and faith, and those ‘miracle workers’ who stand on stage and tell the paralyzed cripples (who never get healed by the way), that the reason they can’t get up and walk is because they simply don’t have ‘enough faith’ in the miracle worker. This is simply an unconscionable and downright despicable thing to do to those who certainly do have enough faith, but who don’t receive healings because God is simply not doing these spectacular type healings today.

Yes, I know, some ‘crippled people’ get up and walk out of the stadium after not having walked ‘for years’ (according to them- no verification is ever available), but these people are NOT medically proved to be paralyzed- they are simply people that are ‘lame’, or too tired, or have ‘arthritis’ or some such minor complaints, and who ‘miraculously’ rise from their chairs and ‘walk again’ without pain. Cue the power of suggestion, and also note that the ‘power of suggestion’ can not cure serious issues like paralysis, Cerebral Palsy, MS, or any other type of verifiably crippling diseases, or serious medical issues. And also note, that it is never the people with these types of serious diseases, lost arms/legs, verifiable blindness’s etc that are called to the stage, and that it is only the ones with vague ‘illnesses’ that are called.

Folks, when the end times come, you will see TRUE miracle workers working for God, going about the world doing TRUE miracles such as raising the dead, healing serious medical issues with nothing but a command, etc. and you will witness God working through His elect and have absolutely no doubt that God is once again among us as He was when Christ was alive working His TRUE miracles- there will be no question about it. These people going around the country begging for ‘donations’ and offerings, working crowds into frenzies, and bringing in thousands with wild claims, thus reaping financial gains are charlatans- plain and simple.

And folks, you can prove this to yourself- you can email Todd Bentley’s site and ‘request a healing’ (Just make SURE you don’t donate anything- if you are truly healed of some serious disease or regain a lost limb or something, then by all means, donate to their ministry if you feel you’ve actually been healed- but please, don’t pay for a miracle- just ask Todd to pray for a miracle to happen to you). The Apostles healed over long distances, and so did Christ. They didn’t have to be present to raise the dead or heal the sick, and neither should any present day person who claims to be a miracle worker. Here’s the prayer request link (Freshfire.ca). If anyone is miraculously healed of a serious verifiable disease, or receives back a lost limb as a result of Todd’s prayers for you, please leave a comment on this site about it, but I am betting that the comment section will be empty of verifiable true miracles.

And, just for the record, if you believe God did do miracles in the past, then you have enough faith today, and don’t you let anyone convince you otherwise- not your own pastor, and not some charlatan ‘miracle worker’ touring the world looking for offerings ‘to keep’ their ‘ministries going’. These people are getting quite rich off of people’s desperations to get well, and quite frankly, there are few crimes against humanity that are lower than this!

Subway Reverses Exclusion of HomeSchoolers. If you’ll remember back awhile ago, I wrote about how SubWay, the international sandwich giant, excluded homeschoolers from their contest, and many people were up in arms about the situation [LINK]- well, it appears that Subway began to feel the heat from recent protests and boycotts that people launched when the giant refused to include homeschoolers in a contest that they held to benefit schools. Now the giant apparently wants to beg for forgiveness from homeschoolers and their parents.

“After catching flak from homeschoolers over explicitly excluding them from its student story contest earlier this year, the Subway restaurant chain has now purchased banner advertisements on the website for Homeschooling Today magazine, touting its new “summer special” story competition.

This new contest, named “Every Sandwich Tells a Story,” carries the same name and prizes as the previous competition, but this time the contest is open to all students up to sixth grade, including homeschoolers.”

Isn’t it amazing how a financial loss can turn someone’s opinion around? I’m sure their apology comes from deep within their heart/pocketbook.

If You’ll recall, Subway ran their previous contest last January, and their advertisements for the contest included a couple of misspelled words, which bloggers quickly pointed out and suggested that had the banner writers been homeschooled, there would have been no misspelled words. anyways, the excuse Subway gave for excluding homeschoolers was because homeschoolers wouldn’t need one of the prizes, which was a donation of athletic equipment, bur bloggers again quickly pointed out that the equipment could have been donated to a school of the winner’s choice. Subway stood by their exclusion for quite some time, but apparently, it would appear, their bottom line began to suffer as a result, and now they have decided to issue a ’sincere’ apology. Is Hillary Clinton Still in the Race? Backlash: 2 million angry Democrats reject Obama? Raise $10 million for Clinton campaign debt, urge her return.

A new protest organization some 2 million strong, are urging Hillary Clinton to actively return to the race, and have raised $10 million dollars to try to persuade her to do so. Many of Hillary’s 18 million supporters felt that Hillary was ‘cheated’ out of the nomination, and feel that she should reestablish her candidacy. They felt the media turned on her, and in essence determined that she would lose the run-offs.

Those still supporting Hillary feel Obama has put in a very poor performance during the debates, and feel that Obama has been arrogant and underwhelming on the campaign trail.

Apparently a bunch of Hillary supporters all ‘found’ each other on the internet, formed a group, and quickly scheduled a conference to discuss pushing forward with their support for Hillary. Two campaigns were launched including PUMA which carries with it an epithet not suitable for this website to mention, and another group called “Just Say No Deal”- two acronyms that seem to lack much forethought.
